Brenda is a multi-disciplinary artist whose style is inspired by nostalgic, dreamy and surreal aesthetics transporting the viewer to a place that feels both fantastical and familiar. Brenda’s latest work has placed Mexican iconography at the forefront paying homage to Frida Kahlo, the Mexican desert landscape and Alebrije folk art. Previous murals have been for community businesses in South Central, Long Beach and Los Angeles. In addition to working as a muralist Brenda also showcases her art in galleries both in LA and Orange County occasionally showing work outside the area. Most notably her painting “Healing Honey Temple” was part of the South Gate Museum 2022 Show “Cuidate” and was chosen 3rd place for best of show by the community of South Gate. Brenda is currently a resident artist at The Hive Gallery and Studios in DTLA.

Brenda es una artista multidisciplinaria cuyo estilo se inspira en estéticas nostálgicas, oníricas y surrealistas, transportando al espectador a un lugar que se siente tanto fantástico como familiar. Su trabajo más reciente ha puesto la iconografía mexicana en primer plano, rindiendo homenaje a Frida Kahlo, al paisaje desértico mexicano y al arte popular de los Alebrijes. Murales anteriores han sido creados para negocios comunitarios en South Central, Long Beach y Los Ángeles. Además de trabajar como muralista, Brenda también expone su arte en galerías de Los Ángeles y el condado de Orange, y ocasionalmente muestra su trabajo fuera de la zona. Su pintura más destacada, "Healing Honey Temple", formó parte de la exposición "Cuidate" en el Museo de South Gate en 2022, y fue seleccionada en tercer lugar como mejor obra por la comunidad de South Gate. Actualmente, Brenda es artista residente en The Hive Gallery and Studios en DTLA.
