Eva Griseida García Luna artistically known as Eva García Luna is an artist/singer/songwriter/actress from Durango, Mexico, who began her love for the performing arts at a very young age with extracurricular singing, dancing, and acting classes at school and at the house of culture in Durango, Dgo. Mexico.
She is a graduate of the Tecnológico de Monterrey campus Monterrey with a Bachelor of Communication Sciences and English certificate from the University of Manchester, England, who came to Los Angeles to study acting for 2 years at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, where she had the opportunity to participate in various Musical Theater productions.
She studied Musical Production at House of DJ in San Pedro Garza Garcia, NL, Music Business at ENAM in Mexico City, singing at Méndez Music Studio in the city of Monterrey and singing coaching with Dave Stroud, Stevie Mackey and Cheryl Porter in Los Angeles. And more recently Eva studied at NYU (New York University) Music Industry Essentials.
Eva started her singing career performing musical theater such as, “The Glory of Love”, “For The Records”, “Musical That Rocks” and “And The Winner Is” at The Marilyn Monroe Theater in West Hollywood, CA.
Later she recorded her first music album which she called “Merezco” and various singles which you can find on digital stores and streaming platforms.
And since then, she has been deserving of different awards and recognitions some of them are:

She is a voting member of the Latin Recording Academy and a member of She Is the Music Organization.
As an actress, she has acted in several productions for TV and Film that have gained recognition at various international festivals, an example of this is "Solidarity" in which she participated alongside actress Elpidia Carrillo, who has excelled in major Hollywood productions. This short film was awarded at various international festivals such as the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. And in the visual arts, she started painting when she was living in Guanajuato, and it was a family friend who taught her to paint her first oil painting at the age of 14 years old. As she grew up in Guanajuato, it is precisely the colorful handicrafts of this state that inspire her and is what can be seen reflected in her paintings.
Since then, she was just painting for herself, until she knew about the 35 x 35 open call opportunity organized by The Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angeles, through its Center for Culture and Cinematic Arts (CCCM) that she decided to send her work for consideration and her artwork “Alebrije Inclusivo” got selected to be displayed at the 35x35 Bicentennial exhibition by Marietta Bernstorff, the Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Oaxaca, México. Currently she is more focused on music, but on her days, she always finds a moment to paint.
